They started their wedding day getting ready at the beautiful Southernmost Beach Resort, nestled right on the edge of the island. The salty breeze, ocean views, and tropical gardens made for a peaceful and romantic backdrop as they prepared to say "I do."
Their ceremony took place at the Key West Courthouse, where they exchanged heartfelt vows in a quiet and meaningful moment. No fuss—just pure love.
But the day didn’t end there.
Madie and Kyle decided to turn their elopement into a visual love story with a personalized photo safari around Key West for a few hours. From historic streets to quirky landmarks, we captured their joy as newlyweds all over town. We made spontaneous stops at some of the island’s most iconic spots, each adding its own flavor to their wedding day gallery.

📍 Cape Tony’s Saloon – A Key West legend. Madie and Kyle each tried their luck tossing a coin into the fish’s mouth outside—rumor has it, it brings good fortune in love and life.
📍 La Concha Hotel –We stepped inside for a few photos and were instantly transported into an old Havana vibe, with its vintage charm and timeless tropical elegance.

Some love stories feel like they were always meant to happen — even if the people in them came from opposite sides of the world. Ina is from Bulgaria. Ignacio is from Argentina. And somehow, their paths crossed right here in Key West.
They decided to elope at the beautiful West Martello, tucked inside the Key West Garden Club, surrounded by their best friends and so much love. It was one of those days that reminds me why I love being a Key West wedding photographer— intimate, emotional, and full of little in-between moments that say everything.
One of the most unforgettable parts of their day was Ignacio’s speech. He spoke from the heart — first in English, then again in Spanish — and there wasn’t a dry eye in the garden. You could feel the weight of their journey, how far they’d come, and how much they mean to each other.
Ina was absolutely glowing in her flowing dress, barefoot in the sand, while Ignacio looked at her like no one else existed. After their sweet West Martello wedding ceremony, we wandered through the gardens and down to the beach for golden hour portraits. The light was soft, the breeze just right, and it felt like time slowed down for them.
Their Key West elopement wasn’t about a big production — it was about connection. About two people, from different corners of the world, choosing each other in the place where they fell in love.

Adrian and Eric’s wedding day was filled with laughter, color, and unforgettable moments—set against the dreamy backdrop of the Florida Keys. As a Key West photographer, it’s always a joy to document love stories that unfold in such stunning locations, and this one was truly something special.
The day began at the beautiful Casa Marina Resort, where Adrian got ready with her twin sister. The ocean breeze drifted through the windows as the two sisters shared this once-in-a-lifetime moment side by side. Their mother joined in for a joyful champagne pop, and a few close friends stopped by to wish Adrian well before the ceremony. The energy in the room was light, happy, and full of anticipation.

Meanwhile, Eric was getting ready just a short walk away at The Reach Resort, surrounded by his best man and family. These quiet, candid moments are always a favorite for us as Key West wedding photographers—they’re filled with the kind of emotion that only close bonds can bring.
Once both sides were dressed and glowing, we headed to Truman Annex for their first look. The peaceful fountain tucked into the lush garden setting created the perfect space for Adrian and Eric to see each other for the first time that day. That moment was pure magic—private, emotional, and filled with genuine joy.

The ceremony and reception took place at one of our favorite Key West wedding locations—the historic Audubon House and Tropical Gardens. Adrian and Eric chose a vibrant tropical palette of orange, pink, and lush greens, perfectly complementing the colorful blooms and thick foliage that make this venue so unique. Their vision transformed the garden into a radiant, tropical dream.
Guests mingled under the palms, sipping cocktails and enjoying hors d’oeuvres while tropical birds called in the background (yes, we even spotted a few flying overhead and few trying to nibble burger sliders!). The reception felt like a celebration wrapped in nature.

​Before the evening unfolded, we snuck away for a sunset stroll by Opal Key Marina. That golden hour light? Absolutely worth it. These are the moments where we get to slow things down and create timeless portraits that reflect the heart of a couple’s day—something we prioritize in every wedding as a Key West portrait photographer.
Back at the Audubon House, the evening continued with heartfelt speeches, sweet first dances, and a dance floor that didn’t stop. The kids had an absolute blast—running around the garden paths and dancing under the string lights, adding an extra layer of joy to the celebration.
It was a day full of connection, color, and celebration, set in the heart of one of the most beautiful Key West wedding venues. Adrian and Eric, thank you for trusting us to capture your story. Casa Marina Wedding Morning: Grace and Ocean Breezes
The day began at the iconic Casa Marina Key West, a legendary resort built in 1920 that blends old-world glamour with tropical luxury. Located right on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, Casa Marina weddings offer the perfect mix of architecture, natural beauty, and resort comfort.
Tori got ready with her bridesmaids in the elegant Orchid Room, where soft morning light filtered through the windows and the excitement was palpable. Her strapless lace wedding gown was stunning—delicate and flowing with a long, romantic veil that trailed behind her like a whisper. She was the picture of island elegance.
Theo dressed in a classic black tuxedo, his calm demeanor giving way to excitement as the moment drew near.
Their first look took place under the resort’s signature arches—an architectural hallmark of Casa Marina weddings. Surrounded by sunshine and ocean breeze, Tori walked toward Theo with her veil catching the light. When he turned to see her, time seemed to pause. It was a quiet, powerful moment filled with love and awe.

Hemingway House Wedding Ceremony: Romance in the Tropics
From there, we traveled to one of the most unique and beloved Key West wedding venues—the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum. A true Old Town treasure, this lush estate is full of tropical greenery, quiet corners, and literary history.
The couple’s Hemingway House wedding ceremony took place beneath the swaying palms, with vibrant green gardens surrounding them. Their vows were filled with meaning, their smiles unshakable. It was the kind of ceremony that leaves everyone breathless in the best way.
As a Key West wedding photographer, the Hemingway House is always one of my favorite places to shoot—there’s something timeless and soulful about every corner.

Reception Under the Stars
As golden hour gave way to starlight, the Hemingway House transformed into a garden oasis for the reception. String lights twinkled overhead, tables were set among the trees, and the evening unfolded with laughter, dancing, and heartfelt toasts.

A true fusion of Greek and Croatian cultures, their celebration was emotional, joyful, and full of unforgettable moments from start to finish.
Diana began her day in the serene Orchid Room at Casa Marina, surrounded by her bridesmaids and the soft glow of the Florida morning light—perfect for timeless getting-ready photos. Meanwhile, Peter met us downstairs at the hotel bar with his groomsmen, where we captured a few relaxed, fun shots before the festivities began.
Their first look was everything—emotional, genuine, and deeply personal. As a Key West photographer, it’s moments like these I treasure most: raw connection, away from the crowd, tucked under the elegant archways of Casa Marina, just the two of them soaking it all in.

I had the absolute joy of photographing Amanda + Mike’s wedding back in 2017, and this month, I got to see their love story evolve yet again—this time during a family session at Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park. Now a sweet family of three (with little Ava leading the way), they’re getting ready to welcome baby number two into their lives. And the best part? The gender is still a surprise!
As a Key West photographer, there’s something incredibly special about reconnecting with past couples—especially during such meaningful life chapters. This Key West pregnancy and family session was soaked in that golden Key West glow, made even more magical by a soft reopening at Fort Zach that meant we practically had the entire place to ourselves. No crowds, just laughter, love, and soft ocean breezes.
Ava was full of energy and curiosity, running through the sandy trails and cuddling close with her mom and dad as the sun dipped lower into the horizon. You could feel the warmth between them—the kind of love that grows deeper with time. Capturing moments like these is why I became a Key West wedding photographer in the first place. We laughed, explored, and took our time — it was relaxed, real, and full of joy.

And while this day was just for them, Alice and Anders might be planning a larger wedding celebration in Spain next year. But for now, this was everything they needed — and it was an honor to document it.

What started as a maternity session quickly evolved into a full-fledged family photography session at the picturesque Truman Waterfront Park in Key West. After spending time at Truman Waterfront Park, we took a short drive to Fort Zachary Taylor, one of the most stunning backdrops in the Florida Keys. Even though the sky was hazy, the soft light created a dreamy, ethereal feel, perfect for capturing intimate family moments.
