It was very intensive 2 months of traveling this Summer throughout Europe. I spent some wonderful time with my family in the Czech Republic and visited a few cities shooting my travels and some styled photo shoots along the way. Those that travel with me know, we are going to walk a lot, and stop a lot, because I love to shoot everything. I was fortunate to visit Prague, Rome, and Paris on this trip and the cities all left a mark on my soul. I see beauty everywhere. I love to travel, and this always opens my mind to new ideas, styles, and energy that I like to bring back to my weddings. I spent a long weekend in Paris, and on her very last day and just hours before she left the city, Anna and I zoomed about the cities landmarks and ornate sculptures. We walked and along the Sein River capturing so many great images her the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Gardens. Anna is a diverse model, signed with Wilhelmina Paris, she's playful and young, with her own style and mood. She made this shoot so fun and the magic of Paris crept into every shot. Paris, FranceRome makes me gush. Words and memories and love for a city that is not mine, but feels like all of ours. You can breath in the history in the air, down every small alley and in-between the old city streets. Rome is after all one of the oldest occupied cities in Europe, the central nation in ancient Roman culture. I had no idea how much I would fall in love with this city, her tiny cars, and welcoming city inhabitants. We visited the Vatican City, an independent country within the city boundaries of Rome, the only existing example of a country within a city. I highly recommend to bring good shoes, try a gelato, visit one of the sights at night because everything is usually open till 1:00 or 2:00 am. We were also very lucky to shoot in such a beautiful setting as The Villa Borghese Secret Gardens. It was a part which is usually closed to the public, so it made our shoot even more special. The w0nderful and edgy fashion designer Giorgia Donia had the most amazing cloths to work with and our model, Valentina Feula, brought out these intense emotions into our photos. This city made for lovers, during fashion week, enthralled my imagination. In my short visit, I met the fashion photographer Emily Soto. We talked photography, shot in the studio and garden, and met amazing fashion stylists and talented make-up and hair stylists. I love these workshops for the shared passion and conversations with other photographic artists. I hope you are enjoying these traveling photo shoots as much as I love creating them, together we can drift away and let the dream take you wherever you want to go. A couple more photos that remind me of such a beautiful time in Paris.

Every chance and opportunity I get to reinvent and charge myself spiritually and photographically, I'll do just that. This time was extra special. I had the chance to spend 3 beautiful days in a peaceful ranch outside of Steamboat Springs, in the middle of nowhere, with Jennifer Hudson/ Thoreson fine art photographer. Jennifer's work is published in many media outlets and exhibited in numerous galleries. Her conceptual work is is vulnerable, touching and her openness to share with others makes her the best teacher. I arrived to Steamboat one day early and explored tranquil mountain views. As a destination wedding photographer, expanding and changing with travel to different locations makes all the difference. You see things that might be overlooked, and all those big hills, creeks, fresh air, and mountain flowers make you say 'Ahhhh' many times. The next day I was picked up and we drove to Motherwell Ranch to meet 15 other talented photographers from all over the world, Jennifer and her sweet puppy Olive. For 3 whole days, we made hair flower crowns, dresses, brainstormed shoot ideas, and slept in a tent with a horn and spray against bears! Here she is. Soft spoken, always smiling and talented. Fine art portrait photographer Sue Bryce also join Jennifer's workshop and it was really a pleasure to be in the group of such talented artists. We also had the chance to work individually with the models and all of the props Jennifer brought. We made including clay, volcanic ash, horse, vintage dresses and learned about printing techniques Jennifer uses for her galleries, showings and books. I worked with the breath taking model Bree, who was also a ballet dancer, and willing to work extra hard to get any image. Here are few photographs I was able to take for my own personal portfolio of Bree. This handsome fella is Henry, very patient, snacking in between photo shoots. I hope I was able to touch your heart with these images as much as I had fun creating them. I cannot wait for other adventures, destination weddings, and amazing collaborations that are awaiting me.
