What a wonderful day and wedding celebration we had with Lisa, Steve and their close family and friends. Lisa and Steve planned a trip to their favorite place, Napa Valley, right after San Francisco and Steve plotted his proposal at their favorite winery, Far Niente. However Steve got so nervous carrying the engagement ring around that he proposed the first night at their arrival to San Franciso at a roof top lounge overlooking the city. Shortly after they started to plan their destination wedding. Lisa and Steve got married in Casa Marina, A Waldorf Astoria Resort situated on 1,100 feet of private beach, only 0.6 miles from Duval Street nightlife but enough of privacy for a perfect escape and wonderful marriage ceremony. We also had the opportunity to drive to 2 locations ( Fort Zachary Taylor and Key West Lighthouse ) for more photography from this special day. Country chic and classic elements were just a perfect fit with the Casa Marina Hotel and wonderfully executed by Duarte Floral Design. I couldn't get enough of these beautiful color pallets used for the bridal bouquet and wedding table decorations. Lisa wore Badgley Mischka wedding shoes and had a stunning lace spaghetti strap mermaid ivory wedding gown with subtle crystals. Lisa's wedding veil combined with light winds during the day worked their magic and we couldn't stop photographing. Big Congratulations to Lisa and Steve. We wish you a long life of happiness!! Thank you for letting us be a part of your special day! Photography: Weddings By Romi

Love, tears of joy, a beautiful sunset, a beach ceremony and much more happened at this lovely destination wedding at Casa Marina Resort in Key West, Florida. Chris proposed in a romantically decorated backyard with overhead lights, and a feast of oysters. Inside one of the empty shells he hid the engagement ring. Meghan, in happy tears, said yes....32 times. Meghan and Chris followed this theme to their wedding day with a nautical decor full of shells and ocean ornaments. Key West was an easy choice for their destination wedding, because Meghan grew up in the Florida Keys and often returned to visit her parents. The wedding celebration was full of joy, lively music, and a lot of aircraft pilots along with their pilot jokes. People traveled from all over the world to celebrate this special day with Meghan and Chris. Furthest wedding guest traveled from Japan and many of their friends came from Europe to enjoy our tropical island of Key West. Meghan's dad had one of the funniest speeches I've heard at the wedding. Not one eye stayed dry. Meghan looked absolutely stunning in her wedding gown and 41 year old cathedral veil worn by her mother on her wedding day at the church. Congratulations Meghan and Chris, we wish you long life of happiness!! Thank you for letting us be a part of your amazing day! Key West Wedding Photography: Weddings By Romi
Venue: Casa Marina A Waldorf Astoria Resort Wedding Planner: Swankey Events Reception Music : Robert Williamson Band Wedding Flowers: Milan Event Hair/ Make Up: Studio Marie- Pierre Amanda and Mike met at Indiana University as freshmen during "Little 500 week", a famous bike race and the biggest college party week in the United States. After the school year ended they continued to stay in touch dispite the distance between them. A week after they graduated, Mike proposed to Amanda. The setting was at Wrigley Field during the Cubs vs. Mets series in May of 2013 (their favorite teams), perfect weather, right behind home plate, and their friend Will (soon to be groomsman) came along with them. Together Will and Mike went to "grab a hot dog". When they came back Mike offered Amanda some Cracker Jacks and she found her surprise! A wedding ring in the bag. Mike got down on one knee and officially asked for her hand in marriage, while Will recorded the whole thing on video. When it came to planning the destination for their wedding day, they both decided together, that Key West would be the place. They shared the same dream since childhood of having a beach wedding, but they also valued a traditional Catholic wedding in a church, therefore they decided on having two wedding ceremonies. They were married by a dear family friend who also married Amanda's mother and stepfather, and the rest of the family that were there, were able to enjoy the celebration as well as the vacation that came along with this tropical destination of their choice. Amanda and Mike decided to go through with their beach ceremony although there was a chance of rain that day, and miraculously it held off for them. Amanda said the weather instead was perfect, which made the day that much sweeter. "We'll never forget what the sky looked like on our wedding day." Their wedding inspiration was a vintage beach, elegant style with coral and gold tones and Amanda's wedding gown was just so lovely. A mermaid style with sweetheart neck line and cathedral veil! And I love photographing veils! They bring so much magic into any wedding pictures. Favorite moment for my lovely couple was stopping at Amanda's and Mike's cottage between the ceremonies to take pictures and spend time with their lovely dogs. Next would be dancing to their favorite song during reception which they picked first thing when they start planning their wedding after being engaged for 3 years. Honeymon was sweet and playful in Orlando visiting Magic Kingdom and Universal Studios before saying I do, and romantic after the wedding for an extended vacation in Key West. Congratulations Amanda and Mike!!! We wish you a long, playful, and beautiful life together! Photography: Weddings By Romi

Ariela and Alan met at Middle School and started dating in 7th grade. Eleven years later they went on a cruise for their Anniversary. Alan proposed at Atlantis Hotel in the Bahamas in the underground fish tank. Speaking about long lasting love before getting married! Ariela decided on the ceremony venue and Alan on the reception venue. Besides being 100% pure, kind people, Ariela and Alan are also really fun and super smart. No wonder they were surrounded the entire wedding with close family and friends that made this celebration also very special. Their Key West wedding at Marriott Beachside Hotel was everything one could hope for on their wedding day: beautiful environment, honest emotion, and a pretty location that made for an intimate ceremony in St. Mary's church. Naturally all the women looked elegant and the men looked extra sharp thanks to the touch of a local barber. The night ended off with a party that didn't stop until the venue forced it to. Ariela said: "Our favorite part about the wedding was when the song "All of me" by John Legend came on, and all our guests gathered together around and hugged us the whole song." St. Marteen, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Grand Turk were just a few locations they went to during their beautiful honeymoon right after the wedding. Congratulations Ariela and Alan, and thank you for letting us be a part of your special day. We wish you a long life of happiness! Venues: Marriott Beachside Hotel

Truman Little White House, Key West and Destination Wedding with Siobhan and Patrick4/24/2016 The first time I had the pleasure of meeting Siobhan and Patrick was due to Siobhan finding my photography through Pinterest search and booking my " Save the date " session. We had a beautiful day in sunny Key West and went to couple of different locations. I was more then thrilled to see their wedding invitation printed in beautiful heavy paper inviting all their family and friends to the Little White House for their special day. Siobhan and Patrick met at the meeting while they were both working on different political campaigns. Patrick proposed before Siobhan's favorite holiday, New Year's Eve. Together they picked their wedding venue as a nod to their political past. Patrick also grew up in Islamorada and his late father lived in Key West for many years. "It is one of our favorite places to visit" Siobhan said. Therefore the choice of getting married in Key West was an easy one. The Truman Little White House set a charming scene for a classic Key West wedding. The chic navy and gold palette with pops of pink color inspired by fashion designer Kate Spade offered a sophisticated but fun feel. Siobhan had a stunning silk chiffon wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline and she looked absolutely angelic. Guest of honor and also officiant of Siobhan and Patrick's wedding was mayor Bob Buckhorn from Tampa. Siobhan used to work for him as a special assistant, but he said that it felt more like he worked for her. I could tell that it really meant a lot to them to have him at their wedding, due to a lot of mutual respect. We also had the chance to escape for an hour to take a few wedding photos at Fort Zachary Taylor Park. Afterwards the couple drove around town in a cute custom made buggy, while making their way back to the reception. Seeing the way Patrick looked at Siobhan with the most natural and genuine of smiles is the reason I photograph weddings. I get the opportunity to capture forever the memories of two people who are truly in love, through a series of still images. We are so happy we got to witness your first day as husband and wife and we hope we'll get the chance to be a part of any other special occasion as they continue to arise in your future. Congratulations Siobhan and Patrick! Photography: Romi, Misha, Roman
Wedding Venue: Little White House Hair /Mua : Amanda Robinson Wedding Officiant : Mayor Bob Buckhorn Wedding Inspiration: Fashion Designer Kate Spade Imagine a dreamy island wedding held in a lush, tropical setting surrounded by the Florida Keys’ blue-green water, a white sandy beach and swaying palm trees. Then picture Sunset Key Cottages, and that fantasy becomes reality. This spectacular resort occupies seven acres of the island. Beyond the resort, guests may explore the white sand beaches or take a short ferry ride to Key West. Sunset Key is renowned for its exclusivity and privacy. Amanda and Jonathan enjoyed their dream beach ceremony followed by a cocktail hour on a chartered catamaran with their closest friends and family. All of this was topped off with a glorious unobstructed sunset view at the end of the day. Their emotional connection is completely endearing, and it’s obvious they love having a lot of fun together and that they love to dance. It was evident in their relationships with friends and family, too, how incredibly special this day would be for everyone. Amanda & Jonathan, we wish you a long life of love and happiness together! Reverend: Steve Torrence Second photographers: Doug Falter, Roman Valigura Videography: Mark Pierson @markjpiersonfilms.com A beautiful sunny day in Key West, Florida. Sasha and Trey, along with their family and friends, celebrated this special wedding day with so much loving joy it was contagious.
Sasha looked stunning in her beautiful wedding gown and Trey couldn't hold back his tears while she walked towards him down the isle at the peaceful and serene setting in Fort Zachary Taylor Park. The couple looked absolutely radiant! Details in dress and decoration reflected the theme of the location, such as baby blue gowns for the bridesmaids and matching socks for the groom and groomsman. What resonated most about this couple’s day was Sasha and Trey's loving relationship. Their friends and family, who contributed in shaping them as individuals and as a couple, shared in their special dynamic. We were treated as a family and it was such a pleasure to be apart of their special day!! Thank you Sasha and Trey, Congratulations!!! We love you! Valerie and Matt are amazing people with such fun personalities. They were from Delray Beach but planned a destination wedding in Key West, Florida. Valerie chose gold, blush and white colors for her wedding day an wore a beautiful mermaid wedding gown with three lace tiers at the bottom of the dress. Valerie and Matt added some traditional Jewish aspects to their wedding such as celebrating with the energetic circle dance known as hora. Everyone's positivity ensured a beautiful evening sky and we were fortunate to get outside to capture some wonderful photos around Mallory Square and Ocean Key Resort and Spa. Together, they enjoyed the rest of their special day and I wish them all the best as they begin this new journey in life, united and in love! Congratulations Valerie and Matt!!! Nick had a special request to have his wedding photographed after sunset, which was a spectacular display that evening. The sun dazzled and set fire to the cloudy sky and ushered in the humid evening. The ceremony was lit under the warm ambiance of paper lanterns, white, glowing balloons, and an endlessly changing sky. Jen and Nick's dynamic and tender relationship is equally shared amongst their families and friends. The amazing people they are surrounded and loved by made for an unforgettable party following the ceremony. We think you’ll also agree that it is hard to take your eyes away from Jen's beautiful, custom made wedding gown. There’s no doubt that lasting memories were made that day, and we were so glad to have been there to capture them. Congratulations, Jen and Nick! I cannot stop smiling at this darling duo.
As the sun was about to set, Rocio and Kevin exchanged their vows at beautiful Casa Marina, A Waldorf Astoria Resort. The last few warm golden rays of early evening sunlight scattered through the palm trees on this magical occasion. With Kevin's family living on the East Coast and Rocio's family living on the West, one family was bound to travel and they decided that Key West was the perfect tropical wedding destination which happen to be their favorite vacation spot as well. Traditionally, Rocio's family gifted to the lovely couple an heirloom of specially blessed coins that are being passed on from one generation to the next! We wish you much happiness, Rocio and Kevin!!! Thank you for letting us capture your special and meaningful celebration! |
